11 corona deaths, 2,762 new cases in Palestine within 24 hours

The Palestinian health ministry on Tuesday reported 14 new deaths associated with COVID-19 (coronavirus), 2,762 new positive tests and 1,410 recoveries in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip during the last 24 hours.

According to the ministry’s daily report, six of the victims who died of the virus are from the West Bank and five from Gaza.

64 critically ill COVID-19 patients are also receiving intensive care in hospitals and 14 of them have been placed on ventilators.

In addition, another 161 patients are receiving medical care in hospitals and special COVID-19 treatment centers in the West Bank.

91.3 percent of the total cases have recovered from the disease, while the rate of active cases has reached 7.7 percent and the rate of deaths is 1.0 percent of the total cases, according to data updated today by the ministry.
