League member and Malian MP Alioune Gueye visits the Ambassador of the State of Palestine in Bamako

The fourth parliamentary writer in the National Transitional Council in Mali and member of the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine, MP Alioune Gueye, visited the Ambassador of the State of Palestine in Mali, His Excellency Hassan Fathi Al-Balawi, accompanied by the member of the League, former deputy and former president of the group supporting associations and clubs supporting Palestine in Mali, Mouhamadou Lamine Djiguine.

The visit discussed the relations between Mali and Palestine, the role of parliamentary diplomacy in supporting the Palestinian cause, as well as discussing the efforts to implement the ceasefire agreement in Gaza and the prospects for enhancing bilateral cooperation in the upcoming period.

During the meeting, MP Alioune Gueye emphasized that the Palestinian issue is "a principled and humanitarian issue before it is political," confirming that parliamentarians in Mali will continue to follow developments in Palestinian territories and support the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people in regional and international forums.

Gueye spoke about the growing role played by the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine, pointing out that the league has become an effective platform to enhance global parliamentary solidarity and support diplomatic efforts aimed at protecting holy sites and supporting a fair political process for Palestine.

On his part, Ambassador Hassan Fathi Al-Balawi appreciated this visit, confirming the depth of relations between the two peoples, and expressing his appreciation for the role played by Malian parliamentarians in defending the Palestinian cause within regional and international frameworks.
