The League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine receives a delegation from the Latin Palestinian Forum to discuss enhancing mutual cooperation

The League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine received a delegation from the Latin Palestinian Forum at their headquarters in Istanbul, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the League, Dr. Mohammad Makram Balawi, and the head of the media department, Omar Boutaleb.

The visiting delegation included Mohammad Al-Qadri, the president of the forum, Ahmed Hweidi, the general manager, Abdelkader Abu Khurj, the forum director in Argentina, and Rateb Al-Safadi, the head of the media department of the forum.

During the meeting, ways to enhance mutual cooperation and support efforts to advocate for the Palestinian cause on both parliamentary and societal levels were discussed, in addition to discussing future joint programs between the two sides.

The Secretary-General of the League provided a comprehensive briefing on the League's work and the latest developments in Palestine, highlighting Israeli crimes against civilians, and the urgent need for parliamentary and international intervention to stop the aggression and lift the siege on Gaza.

Both sides emphasized the importance of unifying parliamentary positions in Latin America to support the rights of the Palestinian people, in light of the escalating attacks by the Israeli occupation and the continued policies of ethnic cleansing against Palestinians.
