League President Participates in the Seventh Conference of the Kuala Lumpur Forum for Thought and Civilization

Mr. Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar, President of the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine, participated in the activities of the seventh conference of the Kuala Lumpur Forum for Thought and Civilization, which was held in Istanbul.

During his participation, Mr. Al-Ahmar expressed his appreciation to the organizers for providing the opportunity to exchange ideas and insights about the current realities facing the Palestinian cause, especially the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip. He emphasized the need to enhance and intensify efforts aimed at stopping the war and holding the Israeli occupation accountable for its crimes.

The Kuala Lumpur Forum for Thought and Civilization commenced its activities on Sunday under the slogan "Palestine as a Catalyst for the Civilizational Revival of the Nation," in cooperation with the Al-Barakah Algerian Association, Sabahattin Zaim University, and the Turkish Human and Civilization Movement Association, with the attendance of a select group of scholars and thinkers, as well as leaders of civil society organizations.

During the conference, the forum's administration announced its name change from "Kuala Lumpur Forum for Thought and Civilization" to "Islamic World Forum for Thought and Civilization" in a move that reflects its expanded role and vision to encompass all issues of the Islamic nation, enhancing its presence as a global platform for Islamic thought and civilization.
