A delegation from the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine participated today, Tuesday, in the "Future of Palestine" conference organized by the Turkish Justice and Development Party at its headquarters in the Turkish capital, Ankara.
The delegation included the League's President, Mr. Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar, the Secretary-General of the League, Dr. Mohammad Makram Balawi, and the Head of International Public Relations, Eng. Abdullah Al-Beltaji.
The delegation held meetings on the sidelines of the conference with parliamentary and political figures to discuss the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip and parliamentary moves in this context.
The conference was also attended by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, ministers, international diplomats, ambassadors, heads of missions and committees from the United Nations and the European Union, as well as parliamentarians from various countries.
Since the beginning of the Israeli genocide against the Gaza Strip, the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine has been leading a parliamentary campaign to pressure international and human rights institutions and parliaments to take a stand against the war and work to stop it.
