The president of the League discusses the developments of the Palestinian issue with the chairman of the parliamentary group for Algerian-Palestinian Friendship

The president of the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds, Hamid bin Abdullah al-Ahmar, held a meeting on Saturday with the chairman of the parliamentary group for Algerian-Palestinian Friendship Hamza Hamlawi, on the sidelines of the participation of the president of the league in the work of the second conference of "El-Binaa Al-Watani" movement.

During the meeting, the two parties discussed the procedures for holding the league's annual conference in Algeria in cooperation with the Algerian parliament, in addition to the situation in the Occupied Palestinian territories and the Israeli occupation's attacks on the Palestinian people and its Judaization plans in the occupied city of Jerusalem.

Al-Ahmar reiterated the league's stand and response to the occupation's sinful attempts to Judaize the occupied city of Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and to continue its efforts and contacts with Arab, Islamic and international parliaments in this regard.

He stressed the importance of the role of the Algerian government, parliament and people in countering the encroachment of the occupation against the Arab and Islamic holy sites in Jerusalem and the aggression against the Palestinian people and supporting their rights, stressing the pivotal role of Algeria in supporting the parliamentary efforts led by the league and supporting them in regional and international parliamentary forums.

The president of the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds arrived on Friday in the people's Democratic Republic of Algeria to participate in the work of the second conference of "El-Binaa Al-Watani" movement, at the official invitation of the party.
