President of the League: International positions on the occupation's attack on Al-Aqsa are weak and will not stop the Judaization plans

The president of the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds, Hamid bin Abdullah al-Ahmar, called on the Arab, Islamic and international parliaments to take action to prevent a repeat of the Israeli occupation's attack on worshippers and retreats at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Al-Ahmar added, during the international parliamentary electronic seminar organized by the league, under the title "ways to protect the Al-Aqsa Mosque from Israeli aggression," that the occupation's storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the barbaric and violent attack on the retreats is an assault on the feelings of all Muslims in the world and a threat to world peace, stressing that the attacks and plans of the occupation in Jerusalem force parliamentarians and parliaments to move in every direction, including working through international, UN and parliamentary organizations and bodies to pressure the occupation to stop it.

He stressed that parliamentarians should have an active participation within their powers, platforms and governments, in order to hold the occupation accountable and prevent the recurrence of attacks, pointing out that the political positions of the recent attack on the retreats at Al-Aqsa Mosque do not dissuade the occupation government from its crimes and stop what is happening in Al-Aqsa.

The president of the league pointed out that the recent developments in Jerusalem are very dangerous and unprecedented and an attempt to impose plans to Judaize Al-Aqsa and divide it temporally and spatially by force and barbaric and brutal assault on civilians and worshippers who are guaranteed freedom of worship by international law, indicating that the extremist occupation government is not ashamed to show its indifference to UN institutions and disregard international law and the historical and religious situation in Jerusalem.
