A delegation of the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds, headed by the League's president, Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar, held a meeting yesterday, Tuesday, with the Speaker of the Jordanian Senate, Faisal Al-Fayez, in the Jordanian capital, Amman.

During the meeting, they reviewed ways to activate the parliamentary role in support of the Palestinian cause, in addition to activating the role of the regional league of the Arab Mashreq within the league.

The delegation of the League affirmed the support of the Hashemite custodianship of Islamic and Christian holy sites in occupied Jerusalem, noting that they discussed hosting the Fifth League Conference in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, during the meeting.

A delegation from the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds arrived in the Jordanian capital, Amman, on Monday, on an official visit, headed by the League's president, Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar.

In addition to Al-Ahmar, the League's delegation included the General Director of the League, Dr. Muhammad Makram Balawi, Head of public relations in the League, Eng. Abdullah Al-Beltagy.
