LP4Q participates in the 76th session of the African Parliament Union

Today, Thursday, a delegation from the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds participated in the 76th session of the Executive Committee of the African Parliamentary Union, held in Djibouti.

The league delegation included league president Sheikh Hamid bin Abdullah al-Ahmar, league deputy chairman al-Bashir Jarallah, and league general manager Dr. Mohammad Makram Balawi, and director from the league's public relations department, Abdullah Al-Beltagy.

Sheikh Hamid confirmed that the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds were granted observer status within the union during the session, indicating that granting this status to the League is an important step on the way. supporting the rights of the Palestinian people and activating the work of parliaments to support the Palestinian cause.

He called on parliamentary unions to interact with the League's efforts and plans to activate the role of parliamentarians and their responsibilities vis-à-vis the issue.
