MP Aql calls on the Jordanian government to protect the activists of the Global Sumud Flotilla

Advisor to the President of the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine, and deputy in the Jordanian Parliament, Mohammad Aql, urged his country's government to act to protect the "Global Sumud Flotilla" aimed at breaking the siege on Gaza.

Aql emphasized, in a letter to the Prime Minister, the urgent need to protect the activists of the "Global Sumud Flotilla" heading to Gaza, which includes Jordanian doctors seeking to break the siege and deliver humanitarian aid to the people of the region.

He explained that the delegation was subjected to piracy and assault by the occupying forces, but the participants are continuing their journey towards Gaza despite the threats.

He called on the Jordanian government to coordinate with international organizations to pressure the occupation and ensure the safety of the activists, as well as contribute to mobilizing global conscience in support of the Palestinian people and stopping the machinery of brutal war.

Aql concluded his message by emphasizing the need to support humanitarian efforts aimed at delivering aid to the besieged people of Gaza and halting the massacres suffered by innocent civilians.
