 PNC DENOUNCES CZECH, KOSOVO EMBASSIES OPENING IN JERUSALEM

The Palestinian National Council (PNC), on Monday, affirmed that the Czech Republic and Kosovo's opening their embassy in Jerusalem was an admission of Israel's illegal annexation of the city.
In a statement, the PNC stressed that this step was a blatant attack on the rights of the Palestinian people and a violation of international law, which affirmed that Jerusalem is an occupied Palestinian city.
Furthermore, it called on international parliaments to exert pressure on the parliaments of the Czech Republic and Kosovo to backtrack this condemned step and adhere to UN Security Council resolutions, especially Resolutions 476 and 478 of 1980 and Resolution 2334 of 2016.
