The League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine Condemns the Occupation’s Violation of the Ceasefire Agreement and Prevention of Humanitarian Aid to Gaza

The League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine strongly condemns the Israeli occupation’s decision to close border crossings with Gaza and prevent the entry of humanitarian aid, while continuing its military attacks in blatant violation of the internationally mediated ceasefire agreement.

This decision comes at a time when more than two million Palestinians in Gaza are facing catastrophic humanitarian conditions, relying on urgent food and medical aid to cope with the consequences of the genocide. The prevention of essential supplies, including medicine and relief aid, is not only a breach of the signed agreement but also amounts to a war crime under international humanitarian law, as the blockade is being used as a tool of collective punishment against innocent civilians.

We, the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine, demand the immediate and unconditional opening of the border crossings and the unrestricted entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza. We call for urgent parliamentary and international action to hold the occupation accountable for its continuous violations of the ceasefire agreement.

We also urge the international community to take a firm stance against this clear breach and to work towards ensuring that the rights of Palestinians to live in dignity and security are respected.

We call on the United Nations and international human rights organizations to urgently intervene to protect Palestinian civilians from the oppressive blockade policy and to ensure the strict enforcement of international agreements, without double standards.
