The League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine condemns the horrific massacre committed by the Israeli occupation against the tents of displaced persons in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, which the occupation had falsely claimed to be safe and humanitarian.

The League affirms that the occupation’s repeated massacre in the same location is a clear indication of its disregard for civilian lives and the international justice system, as well as its contempt for international organizations. It serves as evidence of the complicity of the United States and major powers in enabling the occupation to continue its genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

The League stresses that this massacre sends a clear message from the Israeli occupation and its supporting nations that the holocaust against civilians is ongoing, and the massacres against displaced persons and children continue, showing blatant disregard for international and humanitarian laws.

The League calls on international organizations, institutions, and parliaments to condemn this crime, to act urgently, and to take real and practical steps to stop the genocide and hold the occupation accountable for its crimes against the Palestinian people. Furthermore, the League urges the enactment of laws that criminalize normalization with the occupation, rather than merely issuing condemnations.
