The League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds praised the advanced and strong position of the Jordanian House of Representatives regarding the occupation’s attacks and its storming of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The League confirmed that the parliamentary memorandum submitted by the Jordanian parliament, which called for transcending the stage of denunciation and taking urgent practical steps to support Al-Aqsa Mosque, is the real and required positions of Arab parliaments and free parliaments around the world, calling for similar and urgent steps by the rest of parliaments to stop the occupation’s attack against Al-Aqsa and the occupied city of Jerusalem.
It added that such stances will contribute to putting pressure on official, international and parliamentary institutions to move to curb the occupation's aggression, denouncing the double standards committed by the international community against the Palestinian people.
And 76 deputies in the Jordanian House of Representatives demanded to take practical measures and decisions towards the occupation’s attacks on the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the occupied city of Jerusalem, and not to be satisfied with condemnation and denunciation.
In a parliamentary memorandum adopted by Representative Khalil Attia, the deputies affirmed that standing at the station of denouncing what is happening in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque is no longer an option in line with the higher interest of the Jordanian state, nor with the aspirations and feelings of the Jordanian people.
