The League of Parliamentarians for Al Quds Call for UNESCO and International Organizations to intervene in Protecting the Ibrahimic Mosque

The League of Parliamentarians for Al Quds Call for UNESCO and International Organizations to intervene in Protecting the Ibrahimic Mosque

The League of Parliamentarians for Al Quds condemns the Israeli occupation forces' invasion of the Ibrahimic Mosque in Hebron in the occupied West Bank, the forced expulsion of worshippers and staff of the Ministry of Awqaf, the assault on them by cursing and beating, and the emptying of the mosque in order to break into it by settlers.
The League, calls upon UNESCO to intervene to stop violations of the occupation of the mosque, which, in accordance with UNESCO resolutions, is a nation-protected archaeological site and is part of the 1972 Convention for the Protection of the World Heritage, which states that some sites of the world have exceptional global value and must form part of the common heritage of mankind.
The League calls upon the Security Council, the United Nations institutions and parliaments to act to protect the mosque, to stop the violations of the occupation against it, to implement international conventions and laws, to stop the ongoing Judaization schemes within it and to attempts to change its parameters.
