LP4Q calls for urgent intervention to stop the occupation's fierce attack on Palestinian prisoners

The League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds denounces the fierce and inhumane attacks that are contrary to international norms and laws, launched by the Israeli occupation prison administration against Palestinian prisoners in its prisons.

The League is closely monitoring these attacks by the prison administration, which have been going on for days, and the occupation bears full responsibility for the consequences of these serious attacks, as well as for the lives and safety of all detainees.

The League is in contact with Arab, Islamic and international parliaments and their members, parliaments and relevant institutions, in order to express an urgent position on these attacks and to put pressure on the Israeli occupation to force it to respect its legal obligations, and stop violating international agreements, including the Geneva Convention on the Treatment of Prisoners of War.

It also calls on the institutions of the international community and the bodies working in the field of human rights to condemn this attack and to intervene urgently so that the occupation respects the rights of Palestinian prisoners and to ensure their safety.
