Israeli occupation forces arrest MP Mohammed Abu Tair

Israeli forces arrested the Jerusalemite MP Mohammed Abu Tair, a member of the Palestinian Legislative Council for the city of Jerusalem, from his home in Ramallah.
According to local sources, the occupation forces raided the home of MP Abu Tair in the neighborhood of Um al-Sharayt, dawn, and arrested him.
MP Abu Tair is away from the city of Jerusalem by order of the occupation, after his election as a legislative representative of Hamas in 2006, and his Jerusalemite identity card was withdrawn after refusing to resign from his position in the Council.
After his deportation, he lives in the city of Ramallah. He is a liberated prisoner who spent more than 34 years in Israeli jails and just few months passed from his release from administrative detention.
