The Islamic authorities in Occupied Jerusalem signaled on Thursday a green light to Muslim prayers at holy al-Aqsa Mosque, 14 days after worshipers refused to enter the site through the Israel-run metal detectors.

The Islamic authorities called on the Palestinian masses to flock to al-Aqsa’s entrance gates prior to afternoon prayers and to enter the site chanting “Allah is the Greatest”

Jerusalem’s Islamic authorities reiterated their firm refusal of the Israeli restrictive measures at the site, including age restrictions.

On Wednesday evening, the Israeli occupation authorities removed the security installations around al-Aqsa Mosque, just a few days after they took out the metal detectors set up near the main entrances to the site.
