The Palestine Prisoners Center for Studies said that The number of deputies of the Legislative Council detained by the occupation, rose yesterday morning, to 12 deputies, after the arrest of MP Omar Abdel Razek of Salfit.
The spokesman of the center Riad al-Ashqar said that the occupation raided the house of the MP and former minister Omar Abdel-Razeq (53 years) yesterday, and searched and arrested him, and thus the number of prisoners deputies become 12.
He pointed out that MP Abdel Razek was arrested 6 times and spent 6 years in Israeli prisons, the last of which was for 9 months in administrative detention after the killing of the three settlers in Hebron in mid 2014.
He pointed out that the number of Palestinian prisoners in the occupation prisons has increased again after it was decreased with the release of the deputies Anwar Zaboun and Khaled Tafesh from Bethlehem, where the occupation re-arrested MP Jarrar, and then re-arrested Omar Abdel Razek, bringing the number back to 12.
