Abu Halabiya sends telegrams to Arab officials about the situation of al-Aqsa

The rapporteur of the Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Committee in the Palestinian Legislative Council, MP Ahmed Abu Halabiya, made an urgent telegram to a number of Arab officials, explaining to them the situations of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the recent occupation procedures.
Abu Halabiya conveyed his telegram to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, King of the Kingdom of Morocco, Chairman of the Al Quds International Committee, His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan, Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference Yousuf bin Ahmed Al Othaimeen, Secretary General of the League of Arab States Ahmed Abu Ghait, and the Speaker of the Arab Parliament Meshaal Bin Fahmi Al-Salami, appealed to them all to redirect the compass towards Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque.
Abu Halabiya pointed out in his cable that the occupation forces closed Al-Aqsa mosque in front of the worshipers, and prevented them to pray Friday, noting that it was a dangerous precedent did not occur for more than 50 years, condemning the installation of the occupation electronic gates at the entrances of Al-Aqsa Mosque, considering it a dangerous challenge for all Muslims, and a clear provocation to their feelings.
He said: “What is happening at Al-Aqsa would not have happened had it not been for the fragmentation and division experienced by the Arab and Islamic countries, and what is required of us is to redirect the compass towards Jerusalem and the al-Aqsa.”
Abu Halabiya called for urgent action in all directions to mobilize the official and popular move to reject what is happening in the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the city of Jerusalem, stressing the need to take practical steps in defense of the Al-Aqsa from the occupier and his arrogance practiced toward Palestinian people and holy sites in Jerusalem.
