League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds calls on Arab and Islamic parliaments to hold special sessions to discuss the grave situation in the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the city of Jerusalem and take appropriate measures

In the name of  Allah, the most Merciful
League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds
Al-Aqsa at risk … al-Aqsa is my responsibility …
There is no doubt that the closure of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the prohibition of praying there for a certain period constitutes a serious event in the life of the Ummah, but the most serious is that it falls under the direct control of the occupying entity, which has run its affairs in preparation for the imposition of the partition policy that it targets according to the fait accompli policy. Therefore, urgent and effective action must be taken to prevent this danger to the Al-Aqsa Mosque. In this context, we call on all parliamentarians to:
  1. Hold special meetings to discuss the situation and take appropriate action.
  2. Entry of the parliamentary blocs in a state of permanent meeting to follow the developments of the situation.
  3. Call on the committees of Palestine, the Palestinian friendship committees and the foreign affairs committees to form parliamentary delegations to communicate with international and regional parliamentary and legal institutions and to inform them of the seriousness of the situation and hold them responsible for deterring the occupying entity.
  4. Urgent and effective action of all current and former parliamentarians with their governments and international, regional and local institutions and activate their roles to confront the Zionist aggression.
  5. Organizing sit-ins in front of international and regional parliamentary and human rights institutions.
  6. To file legal proceedings before national, regional and international courts condemning Zionist attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque.
  7. Activating the official and popular media to show the seriousness of the event.
