The Arab Parliament condemns the closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque

The head of the Arab parliament, Meshaal al-Salami, denounced the closure of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by the Israeli occupation authorities and its closure in the face of the worshipers and prevented them from performing Friday prayers.
He stressed in a statement on Friday that this dangerous escalation by the occupation authorities is contrary to international laws and humanitarian principles and values, and undermines the peace efforts in the region, and comes in the context of the occupation forces’ policies of the temporal and spatial division of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
He added that the continuation of the Israeli occupation forces in committing these crimes and violations against the Palestinian people will not only increase the Palestinian people steadfastness in their land and sanctities.
Al-Salami called on the international community and international and human rights organizations to take their responsibilities and take immediate measures to condemn the Israeli occupation of its crimes and violations against the Palestinian people and to cancel the Israeli measures to close Al-Aqsa Mosque and prevent further crimes against the Palestinian people and holy sites.
