MP Frej: cutting off the electricity in Gaza is a crime against humanity

   MK Issawi Frej confirmed that cutting off electricity from the Gaza Strip by the Israeli government and keeping around 2 million Palestinians hostage because of a political disagreement is a crime against humanity.
   “The Gazans’ suffering can not be exploited for political or motor extortion,” he said.
   He added: “The situation in Gaza is explosive and the augmentation of suffering by cutting off electricity will not benefit neither the Palestinians nor the Israelis.”
   Frej also said: “The regional situation and Trump’s visit to the region has paved the way for cutting off electricity from Gaza. Otherwise, how can we explain this step now?”
