MP Abu Tair: The silence of the international community on the abduction of deputies is «unjustified»

The jerusalemite MP Mohamed Abu Tair said that the continued detention of Palestinian Legislative Council deputies in the West Bank and Jerusalem is a crime not least described as a crime of murder, describing it as unfair arbitrary action by the occupying state against the Palestinian people’s deputies.
MP Abu Tayer said in a statement to the newspaper of “Change and Reform”: “The occupation state is trying to uproot people from their homes and imprison them and deport them away from their land, and this is not easy since deportation and abduction is a crime not less cruelty than murder”
He described the situation of prisoners in the prisons of the occupation is very bad in reference to the suffering they are living and the poor treatment of the Prison Service with them, pointing to the presence of a large number of sick prisoners suffering from diseases and who need medical intervention, and the ignorance of their difficult and critical health situation, MP Abu Tayer said: “I will never forget the words of one of the jailers when he said to us while we was in prison: if I could prevent the air and water from you , I would not shorten.”
MP Abu Tayer denounced the silence of human rights institutions and the international community on the issue of the abduction of the Legislative Council deputies while the occupation is still kidnapping nine deputies of the Change and Reform Bloc in administrative detention in its prisons in violation of all international standards and laws.
MP Abu Tayer appealed to the Arab and Islamic nation and the people of conscience to work for the release of prisoners who are exposed to the most extreme living conditions by the Prison Service.
The Israeli occupation authorities released MP Abu Tayer after 17 months in prison in an unjust and arbitrary manner.
