the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) Abdul Rahman Zeidan, said that the settlers' "flag march" in occupied Jerusalem is aimed at continuing ongoing efforts to Judaize the city.

Zaidan explained that the march is a form of imposing facts and is part of the escalating measures by intensifying the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque, demolishing the houses of Silwan and confiscating the houses of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and Wadi Hilweh in Jerusalem.

The Jewish flag march is an annual provocative event held to celebrate the anniversary of Israel’s 1967 occupation of Jerusalem’s eastern part and claim sovereignty over the occupied city. As they march, settlers chant “Death to Arabs” and other racist slurs and embark on attacking Palestinians, homes and stores in the Old City. Previous marches saw such violent and provocative practices, which took place in full view of police officers.
