Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosts an Argentine parliamentary delegation

   The Department of State for the Americas and the Caribbean in the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted an Argentine parliamentary delegation to visit Palestine on May 12-17, arranged by the Palestine Embassy in Argentina.
   Director of the General Administration of the Americas and the Caribbean, Hanan Jarrar, briefed the guest on the political situation in Palestine as a result of the Israeli practices of judaization of the city of Jerusalem and the intensification of the settlement campaign in addition to the racist decisions adopted by the Knesset recently. She pointed out the importance of this visit in giving them the opportunity to learn about the reality of the occupation practices without falsification, noting the importance of intensifying these visits and expanding them to include a larger number of delegations from all over the political spectrum.
   The first advisor, Majid Bamia, briefed them on the latest developments regarding the conditions of Palestinian prisoners from the perspective of international humanitarian law. He also pointed out the importance of concerted efforts by parliamentarians in the world to support the prisoners and their simple humanitarian demands, stressing the importance of parliamentary visits, given the margin enjoyed by parliamentarians, in the expression, and the ability to change.
    It is worth mentioning that the Argentine parliamentary delegation, which arrived in the country on May 12, 2017, participated as an international observer in the municipal elections held on 13/5/2017. After that, they visited Jalazoun camp, the old town of Hebron, Bethlehem, Aida camp, and many areas that clearly demonstrate Israeli practices against the occupied territories.
