Jordanian MPs participate in the "dignity stand" festival in support of hunger strikers

    A group of Jordanian parliamentarians participated in a festival in solidarity with the hunger strikers in the prisons of the occupation under the title “dignity stand” on Monday evening, organized by the Jordanian Engineers syndicate through the committees of freedoms and engineers for Palestine and Jerusalem with the participation of national figures, scientists and released prisoners at the professional syndicate complex in Amman, Jordan.
   Abdullah al-Akayla, head of the parliamentary reform bloc in the Jordanian parliament and a former minister said: “our duty is to stand with the prisoners politically, informally, materially and morally with all our might”.
   He appealed to all institutions and official and international organizations that each of them in accordance with his powers and the level of his responsibilities to the erosion of this usurper entity.
   MP Ahmad Al-Raqab, member of the Palestinian parliamentary committee, also saluted the prisoners in the occupation prisons, describing them as honest heroes who respect the dignity and honor of the nation.
   Al-Raqab denounced the silence of the Arab governments on the crimes of occupation and the shameful impotence towards the prisoners in Israeli jails while some European organizations support the prisoners and their families, concluding with a prayer for the prisoners.
