Arab Parliament decides to consider its session in solidarity with the prisoners in the occupation’s prisons

   The Arab Parliament decided to consider Monday’s meeting “the meeting of solidarity with the prisoners in the Israeli occupation prisons,” after the adoption of the Political and Foreign Committee, and the Committee of Palestine in the Arab Parliament, a decision in this regard, responded to the presidency of parliament.
    The member of the Central Committee of Fatah movement, member of the Arab Parliament Azzam al-Ahmad, said in remarks on the sidelines of the seminar on Arab economic integration “Legislative Mechanisms and Methodological Approaches to Implementation” organized by the parliament on Sunday, the fifth session of the second legislative session will be held tomorrow at the league’s headquarters and it will Include the conditions of Palestinian prisoners on hunger strike on their seventh day, in order to fulfill their humanitarian demands.
    He added that “more than 1500 Palestinian prisoners in the prisons of the occupation continue their strike in the battle of freedom and dignity, amid official and popular campaigns to uphold their rights, and attempts by the Israeli Prison Service to suppress the strike.”
    Al-Ahmad called for urgent action to consider the situation of Palestinian prisoners and to determine measures that are commensurate with the severity of Israeli violations of human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories.
