Arab Parliament calls for an end to occupation’s violations against the prisoners

    Meshaal bin Fahm al-Salami, the speaker of the Arab parliament, called for the release of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails, particularly women and children, and an end to the racist violations committed by the occupation authorities against them.
   The President of the Arab Parliament stressed – on the occasion of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Day, which falls on 17 April of each year as a national day for the fulfillment of the Palestinian prisoners and their sacrifices and in support of their cause – on the need to stop the  repressive policies and procedures of the Israeli occupation which violates their rights guaranteed under international humanitarian law and international conventions, And he demanded the UN and the Security Council to oblige the occupation authorities to implement all international conventions on Palestinian prisoners and prosecute and impose sanctions on those who violate their rights under the Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949.
