Security Council holds a session next Friday on settlement

     UN Security Council will hold a session next Friday on the Palestinian issue, and on top of that the Israeli settlement of Palestinian land.
     It is expected that the Security Council will receive during the session the first report of the Secretary-General of the United Nations on the implementation of Resolution (2334) on the settlement.
    The Security Council which adopted the resolution 2334 on 23 December 2016 requested the Secretary-General to submit a report on the implementation of the resolution every three months.
