Hamdallah praises European parliaments and calls for pressure on Israel to retreat from the settlement law

Prime Minister Dr. Rami Hamdallah received yesterday at his office in Ramallah, a delegation of the Palestine Committee of the European Parliament headed by Deputy Chairman of the Committee Nyuklas Celikiotis with the presence of a representative of the European Union Ralph Traf who briefed them on the latest political and economic developments.
Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah said that it had become necessary more than ever, to do all the EU countries recognize the Palestinian state on the 1967 borders and Jerusalem as its capital, as a practical step to support the Palestinian leadership efforts to end the occupation, and to save the two-state solution. “
Hamdallah Reviewed the occupation violations against the citizens, and the settlement expansion  process and land confiscation, house demolitions and private establishments in the so-called “C” areas, particularly funded by the European Union.
Praise be to God and asked the European Union to pressure Israel to retreat from its decisions to legitimize the settlements, confiscation of land from palestinian people, and stop all violations of international and humanitarian law.
Hamdallah praised the European countries and parliaments that have recognized the Palestinian state, praising the EU’s continued support to the state treasury, and for the implementation of a large number of vital development projects.
