MP in the United Arab List in Israeli Knesset Ahmed Taibi said: “The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the weak former US administration are responsible for killing the two-state solution’s idea.”

Taibi added to Israeli public radio today: “The American President Donald Trump is unacquainted with the details of the conflict.”

He said that he needs to meet with Arab leaders, especially with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas .

He pointed out that the idea of a single democratic state with the right to vote for all means that the Palestinians would form a majority.

A US source said on Wednesday, ” Washington would not insist on a two-state solution option, and will look for alternatives to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but it would agree to the solution agreed upon by the two parties.”
