MP ZON CALLS FOR DECLARING A STATE OF EMERGENCY IN PARLIAMENT TO STOP THE ISRAELI AGGRESSION

The Chairperson of the Committee for Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia and the Vice President of the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds (LP4Q) Dr. Fadli Zon, has called to declare a state of emergency in parliament to support the Palestinian people and work to stop the Israeli occupation attacks in the Gaza Strip, Jerusalem and the Occupied Territories.

Zon stressed, during an emergency parliamentary virtual meeting organized by the LP4Q, the need to support the Palestinian position and work to unify the popular position in support of the Palestinian cause, in addition to supporting the BDS boycott campaign.

He demanded the launch of a petition by the LP4Q to collect signatures from MPs around the world, condemning the aggression and demanding that it stop immediately and hold the occupation accountable for its crimes.
