AL-RIYATI CALLS ON THE JORDANIAN GOVERNMENT TO PROVIDE SHEIKH JARRAH'S FAMILIES WITH DOCUMENTS TO PROVE THEIR OWNERSHIP OF THEIR HOMES

Jordanian Parliament MP, Hassan Al-Riyati, called on his country government to provide the people of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem with documents that could enable them to withstand their land in front of the Israeli judicial decisions to evict them from their homes.

During a session of Parliament, Al-Riyati called on the government to gran the people of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem the prober documents. Noting that the houses they live in were granted to them in the 1950s through an agreement between Jordan and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA)
