BALAWI: A THOUSAND MPS FROM AROUND THE WORLD CONDEMN ISRAEL'S ATROCITIES IN JERUSALEM

The director-general of LP4Q, Dr. Muhammad Makram Balawi, said that more than a thousand parliamentarians around the world unanimously reject the occupation measures in the city of Jerusalem, the most recent of which was the attacks on Jerusalemites in Bab al- Amoud Square.
Balawi added in a press statement to the "Palestinian Information Center (PIC)" that what is happening in Jerusalem confirms the Israeli occupation's disregard for the rights of the Palestinian people and the electoral process scheduled for next month, pointing out that what is happening in Jerusalem is an expression of a real and complete rejection of the city's indigenous residents against the occupation.
He stressed the importance of implementing the resolutions of the United Nations and forcing the occupation to withdraw from the city, adding, "No reasonable or just person in the world can accept this unjust occupation reality and the existence of the criminal occupation."
Balawi added that the occupation does not respect the most basic human rights of Jerusalem residents, first and foremost the election of democratic representatives, and again denounced the state of "free normalization" between some Arab governments and the Israeli occupation.
He stressed the LP4Q's support for holding the Palestinian parliamentary and presidential elections in occupied Jerusalem, and considered the occupation's actions to obstruct the elections as an aggression against the Palestinian people and international law.
