LP4Q LAUNCHES PARLIAMENTARY AND MEDIA CAMPAIGN IN SUPPORT OF SHEIKH JARRAH

The League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds (LP4Q) has launched a media and parliamentary campaign against the plans of the occupation in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem, under the name "Sheikh Jarrah... the new Nakba."
LP4Q Director-General, Dr. Muhammad Makram Balawi, said that LP4Q is in contact with Arab, Islamic and international parliaments, Palestinian parliamentary committees and international institutions to issue positions and actions to confront the evacuation, demolition and confiscation decisions recently taken by the Israeli occupation in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem.
Balawi pointed out that what is happening in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood is a dangerous development in the occupation's Judaization plans and an unprecedented disregard for international laws and decisions, stating that these attacks should not pass without a clear and practical position from relevant institutions.
He stressed that silence on these attacks is an actual approval and complicity with the occupation and called on international organizations to live up to their responsibilities and prevent unjust plans.
