Member of the Executive Committee of the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine and member of the Palestinian National Council, Abbas Zaki, emphasized the Palestinian people's unequivocal rejection of attempts to liquidate the Palestinian cause through displacement projects pursued by the U.S. administration, considering the current phase to be the most dangerous in the history of the Arab and Islamic nation.
Zaki called, in a statement, for national forces and Arab countries to take decisive stances to stop these schemes, stressing the urgent need for solidarity in support of Palestine and its people, and rejecting all attempts at their displacement.
He affirmed that the Palestinian people will not accept any solutions that undermine their national rights, urging the Arab nation and the international community to stand by the Palestinian people in their legitimate struggle against the Israeli occupation, aiming for freedom, independence, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
Zaki also called for strengthening political and diplomatic pressure to thwart the American and Israeli plans targeting the Palestinian cause, emphasizing that any solutions not based on the legitimate historical rights of the Palestinian people are destined to fail.
The League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine strongly condemned the recent statements made by U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the displacement of Gaza residents, considering them a dangerous stance that reinforces the policy of forced displacement and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people, in blatant violation of international law and human rights.
