MP Fraihat: Gaza is not an investment land or a property for sale

MP Yanal Fraihat, a member of the Executive Committee of the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine and a member of the Jordanian Parliament, affirmed that Gaza is not an investment land or a property for sale.

Fraihat explained during his remarks in a parliamentary session that Gaza is an integral part of the land of Palestine and that Jordan is not an alternative in solving the Palestinian issue, emphasizing that all Jordanians reject the liquidation of the Palestinian cause at the expense of their homeland.

He added that the Arab and Islamic nations should support the resistance in Gaza, as it is the first line of defense against the ambitions of the occupation, which openly reveals its strategic project to establish its state "from the Nile to the Euphrates."

He also stressed the need to expedite the enactment of a law that criminalizes and rejects displacement, along with working towards self-reliance and reducing dependence on American aid.

The League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine strongly condemned the statements made by U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the displacement of Gaza residents, considering them a dangerous stance that reinforces the policy of forced displacement and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people, in blatant violation of international law and human rights.

The league emphasized that this position reflects a stark contradiction in American policy and Trump's statements. While the United States calls for the end of wars and the promotion of global stability, it continues to arm Israel with the most lethal weapons and works to lift sanctions on extremist settlers who commit crimes against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, further escalating the situation and encouraging them to continue their violations.
