Hamid Al-Ahmar to Trump: The Palestinian People’s Attachment to Their Land is Stronger Than Any Displacement Plans

Mr. Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar, the head of the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine, stated that U.S. President Donald Trump's plan to displace the Palestinian people "will never be realized," emphasizing that the will and resilience of the Palestinians are stronger than any pressures or temptations.

In a tweet on X, addressing Trump, Al-Ahmar said, "Your four years in the White House will not be enough to convince or force the Palestinian people to leave their land, even if you offer them relocation to Washington, not just to the Sinai Desert."

He continued, "Since you describe yourself as a practical man, it would be better for you to focus your efforts on what is achievable and seek to immortalize your name in history as a maker of peace by convincing your friends in Israel to end their illegal and unjust occupation of Palestinian territories."

Al-Ahmar pointed out that rights do not expire over time, and attempts to impose coercive solutions on the Palestinians are doomed to failure, just as all previous projects aimed at erasing Palestinian identity or taking away the people's right to their land and homeland have failed.

He affirmed that "true peace begins with recognizing the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, not by imposing facts on the ground or proposing projects that lack justice."
