Fadli Zon: Indonesia is Committed to Supporting Palestine at All Levels

The Vice President of the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds and Palestine and Indonesian Minister of Culture, Fadli Zon, affirmed that Indonesia—its government, parliament, and people—remains steadfast in its commitment to supporting the Palestinian people's struggle for their legitimate rights.

In a press statement, Zon said: "Indonesia, in all its components—whether the government, parliament, or civil society—has clear commitments to the Palestinian cause and continuously works to support the Palestinian people's struggle for independence and their legitimate rights."

He added that the Indonesian government maintains a firm stance in supporting the Palestinian people and is actively working to enhance international efforts to end the occupation.

Zon pointed out that Indonesia’s commitment is not limited to official levels but also extends to various segments of society, which are actively engaged in defending the Palestinian cause through multiple means and methods to counter the Israeli occupation and its systematic destructive policies.

He emphasized that Indonesia will continue its political, parliamentary, and diplomatic efforts to support the rights of the Palestinian people, calling on the international community to take responsibility and put an end to the ongoing violations by the occupation.
