During his speech at the "Global Parliamentary Anti-Fascism Forum," Hasan Turan, Vice President of the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine and Chairman of the Turkish-Palestinian Parliamentary Friendship Group, stated that "Zionism is a plague on humanity and represents a new colonial mentality that kills millions of people without any connection to humanity or human values."
In his address during the session titled "Against Imperialism, Fascism, and Zionism," at the "Global Parliamentary Anti-Fascism Forum" held in Venezuela, Turan emphasized that "Israel, which has brutally and savagely killed 17,000 children in the Gaza Strip with bombs and missiles, must be held accountable, and its criminal leaders must receive their just deserts."
Turan called on the United Nations to deal with "these criminals who ignore the UN and its institutions, bomb UNRWA schools, and kill its employees, in a language they understand, and to expel them immediately from membership in the UN."
He continued, saying, "The global conscience against the occupied Zionism that is hostile to humanity is growing day by day, and anyone who supports the killers becomes isolated with them."
He stressed that "the fascist Zionists who have committed genocide and war crimes in Gaza are now facing just reactions from peoples everywhere; from Asia to Latin America, and from Europe to South Africa... and in the end, humanity will prevail."
A delegation from the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine participated in the "Global Parliamentary Anti-Fascism Forum," which took place in Caracas, Venezuela, on November 4 and 5.
The delegation included Hasan Turan, Vice President of the League and Chairman of the Palestine Committee in the Turkish Parliament; Dr. Mohammad Makram Balawi, the League's Secretary-General; and Engineer Abdullah Al-Beltaji, Head of International Public Relations.
