Clara López, a member of the Executive Committee of the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine and a Colombian senator, stated that the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip is "unbelievable degradation."

López added that the Israeli occupying army is acting inhumanely in Gaza in an effort to complete its ethnic cleansing operation against the Palestinians, noting, "This may be one of the lowest and most degrading moments that any conflict can reach."

She affirmed that "the horror in Gaza is causing indescribable death and suffering" in the face of an indifferent and neglectful international community.

In another context, the congresswoman condemned the unjust decision issued by the U.S. Department of the Treasury against the President of the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine, Member of Yemeni Parliament Mr. Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar, demanding an immediate reversal of the decision.
