MP Mdhoub Calls on the Inter-Parliamentary Union to Reject the U.S. Decision Against Mr. Hamid Al-Ahmar

The Assistant President of the Tunisian House of Representatives, Maher Mdhoub, expressed the Council's rejection of the unjust decision issued by the U.S. Department of the Treasury against the President of the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine, Member of Parliament Mr. Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar.

Mdhoub urged parliamentary institutions and the Human Rights Committee for Parliamentarians within the Inter-Parliamentary Union to take responsibility regarding this unjust decision and to express their actual and practical support for one of the most prominent Arab deputies in the union.

He called for the regional and international parliamentary and human rights community to stand by the President of the League and to work towards overturning these serious violations that affect a deputy representing the voice of his people and a citizen known for his humanitarian positions and high values in defending a people striving for peace and justice.
