Senator Mushahed Hussain: Pakistan is Shocked by U.S. Sanctions Against Sheikh Hamid Al-Ahmar

Senator Mushahed Hussain, a member of the Executive Committee of the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine and a member of the Pakistani Senate, stated that the Senate is shocked by the unjust decision issued by the U.S. Department of the Treasury against the President of the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine, Member of Parliament Sheikh Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar.

Hussain affirmed that Sheikh Hamid is one of the most respected statesmen and a leading advocate for justice in the Palestinian cause, emphasizing that the sanctions against him are completely unacceptable, devoid of any facts, and contradict the principles of justice, legitimacy, and integrity.

He explained that Sheikh Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar is one of the greatest leaders in the Islamic world who speaks openly, courageously, and with commitment about the Palestinian issue, noting that the sanctions imposed on him are a punishment for his support of the Palestinian people.

Senator Hussain called for the lifting of these sanctions and for addressing this mistake, affirming steadfast support for Sheikh Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar because he is on the right side of history, supporting the cause of justice, fairness, and truth for the Palestinian people.
