Osama Al-Shaheen, member of the Executive Committee of the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine and former member of the Kuwaiti National Assembly, stated that the unjust decision issued by the U.S. Department of the Treasury against the President of the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine, Member of Parliament Sheikh Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar, is unjust and biased in favor of the Israeli killing machine.

Al-Shaheen added that Sheikh Hamid Al-Ahmar is a true fighter for democracy, legitimacy, and unity, both in Yemen and around the world, and a civilizational defender of the legitimate Palestinian rights to liberation.

He called on parliaments and parliamentarians to stand alongside Sheikh Hamid in his right to express his opinions and political positions without intimidation from any party, demanding that the U.S. administration retract this arbitrary decision that contradicts all principles of truth and justice and unjustly supports the genocide in the Gaza Strip.
