Turkish MP Turan Calls on Parliamentarians to Stand Firm Against the Genocide in Gaza

The Vice President of the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine, and head of the Palestine-Turkiye friendship committee in the Turkish Parliament, MP Hasan Turan, stated that the genocide in the Gaza Strip is one of the most brutal attacks in the world.

Turan added that the Western nations that claim to be modern and dare to give lessons in human rights and freedoms are sponsoring the genocide against the Palestinian people, ignoring United Nations resolutions and remaining silent about the daily killings of children and women.

He continued, "Remember that massacres are repeated, and we will not forget those who applaud in congressional halls for those who give the murderer more opportunities to commit massacres under the guise of hollow peace calls," praising the resilience of the people of Gaza despite all the crimes and killings.

The MP urged "everyone who carries a conscience, especially parliamentarians, to stand stronger against this brutality, to raise voices in squares and fields, and to mobilize all people and humanity to open the ears of those who do not hear and the eyes of those who do not see this genocide."
