Malaysian MP Syed Ibrahim: Pressure Must Be Applied on the United States and Western Countries to Stop the Genocide in Gaza

Member of the Executive Committee of the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine, and Chairman of the Malaysian Parliament Group for Palestine, MP Syed Ibrahim Syed Noh, called for intensified efforts to stop the Israeli genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

Syed Ibrahim urged for pressure to be applied on the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and other allies of Israel to stop the war and the hypocrisy supporting the occupation, emphasizing that "you cannot insist on reducing tensions or ending the war while providing military assistance to Israel at the same time, nor can you insist on providing humanitarian aid while vetoing a UN Security Council resolution for a ceasefire."

He stressed that these countries are complicit in the genocide and crimes against humanity in Gaza, pointing out the importance of escalating international pressure on Israel and its allies based on all resolutions, rulings, and international law to stop the war in Gaza and Lebanon.

The member of the Executive Committee of the League called for intensified condemnations, protests, and acts of resistance from governments and the international community against the atrocities committed by the occupation against the Palestinian people.
