Former Iranian parliament member Jamileh Kadivar stated that the escalation of the Israeli occupation's attack on the West Bank is an extension of the genocide in the Gaza Strip.
In an article, Kadivar explained that the escalation aims to complete the genocide and erase the Palestinian population through forced displacement from their lands, adding that "Israel has been working for decades to enhance and solidify its geographic presence in the West Bank, and now it is exploiting the Gaza war to accelerate its annexation plans."
She pointed out that "settlers constantly attack Palestinian towns and villages, expelling thousands of Palestinians from their homes, in cooperation with the Israeli army," emphasizing that what is happening is part of the ethnic cleansing policy that Israel has pursued for 76 years against the Palestinian people.
Kadivar noted that "it is natural for Palestinians to focus on resistance, not only to liberate their land from the occupiers but also to survive."
