The former Argentinian parliament member Julia Argentina Perie stated that Israel has been killing and detaining Palestinians on a daily basis and suppressing them for years.

During the "Freedom for Palestine" conference, she added that Israel has turned Palestine into an archipelago and severed its regional connections in an attempt to erase it from the map. She explained that Israel is trying to exhaust the Palestinians in an effort to expel or subjugate them.

She pointed out that there are more than 25 resolutions from the United Nations Security Council and General Assembly condemning Israel's illegal practices against Palestinians, but to no avail. She called on governments to do what they can to end the Israeli occupation.
