Dr. Nureddin Nebati, President of the Turkish League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and former Turkish Minister of Finance and Treasury, emphasized that the Israeli occupation openly violated the principle of "war ethics" by committing massacres against residential neighborhoods in the Gaza Strip and imposing a blockade, cutting off fuel, electricity, food, and medicine.
During a parliamentary press conference organized by the League, Nebati stressed that the continuation of the blockade on Gaza, the bombing of innocent people, the targeting of hospitals and ambulances, the destruction of places of worship and schools, the destruction of infrastructure, the prevention of all humanitarian aid, and the deprivation of the Palestinian people from their basic needs are acts of terrorism in its clearest forms and cannot be justified as self-defense under any circumstances.
He called on the international community and countries in the region to take action to impose a just solution to the Palestinian issue, emphasizing that any party that refrains from resolving the Palestinian issue now bears responsibility for the violence, and everyone must take responsibility.
Nebati added, "The United Nations and related institutions are obliged to take every step towards the establishment of the Palestinian state, which is the most legitimate right of the Palestinian people according to international laws and resolutions."
Since the beginning of the aggression on Gaza, the total number of martyrs who have reached hospitals in the Gaza Strip so far is 1,900, including 500 children and 276 women, with 6,612 others injured.
